PROBATIONARY PERIOD 90 DAYS

Prior to being voted into American Legion Riders, applicants will participate in a probationary period  of 90 days or longer, during which time they will demonstrate their character in several areas. The most important factors center on participation, including joining rides, attending events and benefits, volunteering time, etc.  ‚Äč

Current ALR members will observe how you ride and interact with other 109 riders. Your membership into the ALR will be decided based on your performance during the probationary period.

Members will not at any time hold membership in more than one chapter of the American Legion Riders.
In addition, all members must be the legally registered owner of at least a 500cc motorcycle or be the spouse or significant other of an American Legion Rider member.  Exceptions are  honorary, supporting and junior members. Finally, a
fter the probationary period, ALR members will vote on each applicant to determine membership.

To remain an American Legio Rider of Post 109, each member must participate in a minimum of three (3) events per year. These events include assisting with SLINGO games, serving ALR- sponsored dinners, and/or participating in ALR sanctioned rides, events or dinners.
